MSME Enterprise accuracy:

  • MICRO UNITS are companies with investments of less than Rs. 1 crore and a turnover of less than Rs. 10 crore.
  • Companies having investments of up to Rs. 10 crore and a turnover of less than Rs. 50 crore are classified as SMALL UNITS.
  • Companies having investments of up to Rs. 50 crore and a turnover of less than Rs. 250 crore are classified as MEDIUM UNITS.

The Advantages of Udyam Registration:

  • Any MSME-classified company can take advantage of the government’s future advantages by using the Udyam identification number in the following manner:
  • Economic organisation loans and subsidies are larger without problems for registered groups.
  • MSMEs have a considerably lower interest rate, about 1 to 1.5 percent, which makes obtaining economic organisation loans much easier for them.
  • Registered organisations can borrow up to $100 million in collateral-free or guarantee-free loans.
  • Emerging Market Debts, or EMDs, are loans to SMEs with the goal of gaining bids and reducing competition. They may also be a valuable resource throughout the early stages of a company’s growth.

Registration for Udyam:

  • The Udyam Registration Portal is used to complete all Udyam registrations.
  • The Aadhar number of the relevant individual [Managing Partner in the event of a partnership firm] is required to complete the registration form.
  • The GSTIN, PAN, and Aadhaar numbers of an authorised signatory of a firm, LLP, Co-operative Society, or Trust must be submitted.

Note: If a company participates in a variety of companies or services, or both, these businesses or services can be specified or added in a single Udyam Registration.

Udyam Registration of existing enterprises:

All present firms registered as EM-Part II [Entrepreneurs Memorandum] or UAM [Udyog Aadhar Memorandum] must re-register on or after July 1, 2020. All firms that were registered before July 1, 2020 will be reclassified using the new criteria, with their present registration certificate valid until December 31, 2021.
